Formal Event Tips

** When deciding on placement of decorations, choose areas where your professional photgrapher will be taking photgraphs.

** The shape of the centerpiece should compliment the shape of the table.

** Remember to decorate Head-table, Cake-table, Cookie-table, and Gift-table.Our special under-lighting
will add a soft glow to you special tables.

** Candles may be used for a brunch or afternoon reception, but the candles are not usually lit. Normally the candles are lit when the buffet is ready.

** Foods taste better when unscented candles
are used.

** Store all your candles in a cool, dry place.

** Elegant floor length cloths to correlate with your
style, and coloring.

** Add overlays in different colors and sizes to give a decorative spice as well as a napkin as a centerpiece liner.

** Remember to order extra napkins for your roll and bread basket.

Food Service Tips

** Never add fresh food to a chafing dish. Take out the used food pan and replace with a full one.

** Utensils are placed for use from the outer edge of the place setting toward the plate.

** Be sure to include your salad and desert forks with your final count.

** When placing your final count, pleas include the quantities that you are placing on the table and not the number of guests.

** Don't forget the bridal party in your final count.

** Always label your beverages whether they are alcohol or non-acoholic.

** Always server food with alcohol.

** Always have non-acoholic beverages available.

** Stainless steel food pans can be placed in the oven to keep the food warm.

Concession Equipment Tips

** A 2 Quart container of cotton candy floss will make approximately 50 - 60 cones. You must use cotton candy floss for the machine to function properly.

** A case of 36 bags of popcorn will server aproximately 200 people. The first batch of popcorn takes longer to pop than subsequent batches.

** 1/2 Gallon of slushie syrup make 40 8 oz. Frozen drinks. Allow a Minimum of 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours for optimal freezing. You must use slushie syrup ONLY in the frozen drink machines.

** 1 pound of ice makes about 3 snow cones.

** 1 pound of syrup wil make 75 cones.

Beverage Tips

** Approximately 2 cups of punch/person

** Appoximately 15 ice cubes/person for a 2 - 3 hour cocktail party.

** Picnic for 150 people
10 Gallons of Iced Tea
8 Gallons of Lemonade
2 soft drinks/person

** One coffee station/60 guests.

** Use cold water in coffee makers.

** One pound of coffee will make 55 cups of brewed coffee.

** Super cooler holds 168 cans of pop with 30 lbs. of ice.

Inflatables and Games Tips

** Classic Tent Rentals have a Certified Ride Inspectoron staff, and all inflatables are inspected per regulation.
** Did you know that ALL inflatables are regulated by the PA Dept. of Agriculture? Therefore, please allow extra time for picking up for instructions and processing of paperwork.
** The catepillar maze is for children under 100 lbs. They must take turns on the slide.
** Mini slide may be used wet or dry. Please notify office personnel which way it will be used so the appropriate hoses are available to you.
**If bouncer begins to deflate, there is NO need to panic. Just have the children exit before assessing the situation.
** Dunk tank holds 500 Gallons. Tank size is 4' H x 5'D.
